We have all
seen the ads that scream about pennies on the dollar and
otherwise make outrageous claims. The IRS has procedures in
place to persuade people to be current with their taxes and
to collect outstanding debts. Working with someone familiar
with those procedures goes a long way to resolving those
issues without all the hysteria. Resolving those types of
controversies in a civilized manner is a large part of what
being an enrolled agent is about.
